Shipping & Returns Policy
Planet Assist uses a courier service where possible or Australia Post. We aim to choose the fastest, most economical option for your gift. We charge a standard shipping rate of $10.00 which covers most areas. Where multiple purchases are made, delivery falls outside the metropolitan area or the order is in excess of 25kg (or size restrictions), Planet Assist will charge you the initial $10.00 shipping rate and quote the additional shipping cost via email or phone. Please note that where additional shipping costs apply that goods will not be dispatched until payment has beed received. Orders within country areas of up to 25kg should expect to pay an additional $5 (This may vary depending on the delivery location but we will contact you to advise of the delivery cost.)
To ensure you receive the best and most accurate price for shipping and handling, Planet Assist will check your order and quote the shipping and handling charge on your order when over 25Kgs which can be paid online using a credit card.
Unless otherwise stated in product description all Stock on hand items will be dispatched from us within 5 to 7 days after receipt of your order. Where dispatch time varies, it will be noted next to the item when purchasing. Depending on the items in your order or the remoteness of your location, you should allow additional time for your order to be delivered.
If you need to receive your gift before a particular date (e.g. birthday/anniversary etc) please indicate in the comments section of the order or e-mail us and we will advise if your order can be delivered prior to the date indicated.
Purchasing from a few of our favourite things: Planet Assist understands that gift giving requires planning in terms of timeframe requirements. Delivery timeframes are stated and will generally be delivered within this time frame. We will contact you to advise if the items you have selected have sold out or looks like being delivered outside the stated period you will be contacted to discuss alternative arrangements which can include a full refund.
Returns
In the unlikely event that a return is requested, all returns must include all original items undamaged, in re-saleable condition, all original packaging including manuals, warranty forms, etc. Where necessary we will advocate on your behalf. Postage and handling fees are not refundable. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs incurred in shipping products back. We shall confer the manufacturer warranty on all products where possible.

Personal Shopper Service - We endeavor to ensure that our suppliers have liberal returns policies. Where necessary we will advocate on your behalf. However, it is important to note that some suppliers will only return/exchange for product malfunction and/or defect. Please note the service fee is non refundable.

Risk of Loss
Any Products purchased from Planet Assist are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
